Malouf Implements New Accessibility Tool on Website
Malouf recently added an accessibility tool on maloufsleep.com to ensure its content is available to all viewers. This new tool comes with built-in features such as a screen reader, contrast enhancement, screen magnifier and keyboard shortcuts.
In addition to this new tool, Malouf’s software engineering team made other improvements to maloufsleep.com to increase web accessibility. These changes include a modified site structure for easier navigation and an updated color scheme for better visibility.
“Our team works hard to make sure our website is compatible to the widest range of users,” said Brock Taylor, a team lead for the Malouf software engineering department. “We are very aware of web accessibility standards and continuously work to meet those standards.”
This project is part of Malouf’s ongoing initiatives as a Certified B Corporation®. Malouf Marketing Director Scott Carr said, “Since becoming a B Corp, we’ve continued to find ways to create an inclusive economy. This applies to all aspects of our business, including how we communicate with consumers and other companies through our website.”
