80 Children Receive a Bed from Ashley HomeStore’s Hope to Dream Program
Ashley Homestore’s Hope to Dream program provided 80 children the gift of sleep during a Back to School Bash event on August 23rd in Roswell, GA. The organization hosted the event to surprise the children with their very own bed during a special reveal show.
During the event, the children received a twin mattress, bed frame, sheets, pillow, and a comforter as well as loads of school supplies to get them ready to kick off another school year. The event took place at Sky Zone where the children were able to spend the afternoon playing in the trampoline park as well as partaking in additional games.“It is a honor to give back and help support the communities that have so graciously allowed us into their homes for so many years. Over the past eight years, we have been able to provide over 90,000 children with the gift of sleep,” said Evan Johnson, Ashley HomeStore. “Events like this allow members of our team to be immersed in the community and meet the very children this great program supports.”The receiving children were nominated through the local Boys and Girls Club of Atlanta, an organization designed to empower youth to excel in school and lead healthy, productive lives, a mission much like Hope To Dream’s.
“We look forward to continue to work with communities to reach our common goal, to ensure that every child has a bed to call their own. This will help them to lead a healthier and more productive life,” said Ruthie Bautista, Hope To Dream Ambassador. You can find out more about the organization on their website https://www.ahopetodream.com/.
